Portrait Photography FAQs
I'd like my baby photographed but I'm concerned they may not respond positively during the session?
When having babies photographed try to arrange your appointment around their feeding and sleeping times as there's a better chance that they will be more content. How ever babies are unpredictable and if they are unwilling to co-operate your session can be re-scheduled at no additional cost.
Can pets be included?
Pets can be included in the photo shoot and props that are significant to you are also a good idea.
What should I expect during the photo shoot?
The shoot will start with a quick chat about who will be in the shoot, props included and what can be expected over the next hour, also any changes to your requirements can be disscused here. During your session your poses will be directed but not staged so you end up with a good selection of images to choose from. If you have any particular ideas or have seen something in a magazine that you like, we can discuss this before the shoot commences. (although I can not guarentee this will be completed.)
Can you pencil me in?
Yes I can but due to the high volume of enquires I recieve I can only hold a date for 14 days.
How far do you travel?
Being based in Chichester the majority of my work is here but I am happy to travel to the surrounding counties, or further a field on request.
What should I wear?
When choosing your outfits, avoid big prints, bold patterns and very bright colours. PLain colours comlimenting each other ensure your pictures are focused on you and your family. You can consider changing your outfit part way through your shoot to provide variety for your final selection. For photographs taken on location consider the environment and choose sympathetic colours co-ordinating with other members of your family.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place at your home or at a location of your choice.
How long will the session take?
Sessions generally take 1 hour.
